Air Botswana operates a
dedicated cargo service between Gaborone and
Johannesburg three times a week on Monday,
Wednesday and Friday. The shuttle takes an hour and ten minutes.
Departure from Johannesburg is at twelve noon and
from Gaborone at three o'clock in the
afternoon with a capacity of three
tons.
It is a convenient and reliable way of
moving delicate goods, time-sensitive documents,
medicines, perishables and any other special items
that must be transported quickly and
safely.
There are limited cold room facilities at
the Air Botswana Cargo office at Sir Seretse Khama
Airport.Air Botswana will make special arrangements
for uplifting items that are too large or heavy
for the cargo aircraft.
Shippers and importers are responsible for
Customs clearance of their goods.
